What is the Level 2 Mental Health in the Early Years course?
It is an online Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health in the Early Years, usually studied over about 7 weeks. Units cover young children's mental health, attachment and adverse childhood experiences, and the early years practitioner's role. LCG says you should be employed in a relevant childcare setting. Funding is confirmed by the provider.
This course looks at factors that may affect the wellbeing of children from birth to five, and how mental health should be supported in early years provision.
