What is the Level 2 Understanding Autism course?
It is an online Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism, usually studied over about 7 weeks through Learning Curve Group's Flexible Learning offer. It covers sensory processing, communication differences, common misconceptions and the guidance that underpins support. Government funding may be available to eligible adults; the provider's Pre-Check confirms this.
This is a nationally recognised Level 2 certificate for adults who want a clearer, more accurate understanding of autism and neurodiversity.
Learning Curve Group's current course page explains that support needs are unique to each autistic person, and that the qualification covers characteristics that may be present, conditions that commonly occur with autism, and how speech, language and communication may differ.
It is an awareness qualification. It does not qualify you to diagnose autism or to practise as a specialist clinician.
